Took some time this morning, while recovering from a sinus cold, to go through a box of cards that I discovered when moving things a few weeks ago.

I discovered this box contained 1992 Leaf (368 of 528) and 1992 Stadium Club (365 of 900).  I think I will try to complete the Leaf set but unsure about the Stadium Club.  Seems the bulk of the Stadium Club is from Series 2.

There are also several duplicates that I need to sort through from these sets.  Message me if there are any needs.

It has been great to look back over these cards and recall great players and moments.

WOW!  Had a closet with all my cards that I've been trying to sort and reorganize the past few months.  Progress has been slow but steady.
My landlord graciously had new carpet installed, meaning I had to move all those cards into a bigger box and out.
Now comes the "joy" of getting them back into the closet.  Think I will take the time to find a new shelving system.  Any suggestions?
Hope to be able to sort them quicker now that I have to unpack them.
May be able to post trade/sales in the near future.

It has been awhile since I've posted anything as I've been very busy with a new job and umpiring rec and travel baseball.

Want to start today's blog by saying THANK YOU to all the veterans that have served this country and remember all those that have died so that we can have our freedom.  I'm reminded of how players in the past left their baseball careers to serve this country.

I've been wondering if anybody has suggestions for storing the 87 Topps Mini?  I'm slowing working on this set and haven't found any sheets or protectors for these cards.

I hope to find the time to share more with the card collecting community.  I've enjoyed following the blogs after several of you out there.

Organize

I've been trying to organize cards the past few weeks and get them entered into Beckett Organize.  The biggest problem/concern I have is on how to grade my cards.  I've read many articles on what the grades are and how to determine the grade.  I just don't want to give somebody a "poorer" card than they are expecting in a trade.  I'm open to any suggestions on grading or good way to organize.

I'm also interested to know how most people display their collections.

Okay, here goes my first blog in the Baseball Card world.

I've been collecting cards when money allows since around 1985 (age 15).  I finally bought my first Jumbo Hobby Box yesterday and WOW!  It was great to sit and open each pack, sort out inserts and have the base set completed.

I hope to spend more time work on older sets.  I'm hoping to complete each Topps base set since 1970.   I'm hoping to work on all the years ending in 2 this year and then move on to ending in 3 next year.  We will see how this works.

I'm a big baseball fan following the Braves and Brewers.  I grew up a Braves fan and pulled for the Brewers and Red Sox due to the history with the Braves.  I've grown into a bigger Brewers fans the past couple of season due to the Nashville Sounds.

I look forward to what this new avenue of blogging has to offer.  I'm open to any suggestions.
